Meet Dr. Gangbar
Dr. Stephen Gangbar graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he did a general practice residency at Health Sciences Centre Hospital, the University of British Columbia. Returning to Toronto in 1986, Dr. Gangbar practiced general dentistry for one year before returning to the University of Toronto for graduate studies.
In 1989, Dr. Gangbar received his specialty certification in Periodontics and began practicing with Periodontal Associates. He is also on staff at the Faculty of Dentistry, University Of Toronto as a Clinical Instructor in Periodontics.
He is a director of the PA Study Club and has lectured to many dental groups. Dr. Gangbar is also a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Society of Periodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Periodontology and many other national and international dental societies.
Meet Dr. Su
Dr. Quyen Su is a Canadian Board-certified Periodontist FRCD(C) who offers comprehensive periodontal care including implant-related therapy.
Dr. Su attended Western University where she earned a Bachelor in Medical Science degree and graduated with honors. She moved to Montreal to complete a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from McGill University, and graduated with distinction. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Su was accepted for a one-year General Practice Residency at Sunnybrook Hospital. She proceeded to complete her specialty training at the University of Toronto and successfully obtained her Masters in Periodontology degree.
Dr. Su teaches clinical Periodontology to dental students at the University of Toronto. She is the long-term care coordinator for the Toronto Central Dental Society. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Ontario Society of Periodontists, Canadian Academy of Periodontists, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Su keeps current with literature and periodontal treatments by attending local and international conferences.
Dr. Naheed Mohamed
Dr. Mohamed is a Canadian Board certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Mohamed began his training at the University of Toronto where he received his Honorary Bachelor of Science Degree. He then went on to pursue dentistry at the prestigious Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After completing his dental degree Dr. Mohamed went on further to specialize in Periodontics and Implant Surgery completing his residency at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals in Cleveland. During his time in Cleveland, Dr. Mohamed received anesthesia training through the hospital and completed a Master’s Degree in Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Mohamed has particular interests in minimally invasive approaches to surgery. He is an expert in dental implant and related site development surgery through bone augmentation and reconstruction. He also provides numerous cosmetic procedures to enhance your smile aesthetics from smile design gum contouring to lip augmentation. Dr. Mohamed lectures internationally and is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
